Two girls, at 15; Louise, in a prestigious girls' high school, and Kelly, who was admitted but forbidden by her father to attend. This is the end of their friendship, and from here the film progresses in a backwards time line to a final freeze frame of the girls at the peak of their closeness.

This movie is all about a normal guy called Billy Apples. He is a social drinker and sometimes lead singer of a band. While he is doing all of this, he still manages to bring up his teenage daughter. One night while sitting at home Billy finds that he has a talent! He finds that he is able to sing like his idol, 50's singer Billie Holiday. From there he is going places, from huge live performances to even cutting a hit record, but in the end he must make a choice between the life he has, and the life he once knew.

He wakes up in her bed. He's Josh, an Australian photographer living in London, on holiday in Sydney, leaving in three days. She's Cinthia (Cin), a dress designer. They've met at a party and shared a cab back to their respective places, they're attracted to each other, he'll be gone in three days (no complications), so he stays the night. Each of them talks to the camera occasionally, commenting on what happens; so do her female friends and his male ones. An omniscient taxi driver also helps out. How will those three days go? What could be better than sex?
