Ultimo giorno di scuola in un Istituto superiore romano ed ultime interrogazioni prima degli scrutini finali. Inoltre, bisogna festeggiare un'anziana insegnante che va in pensione. Gli insegnanti ricordano l'anno scolastico che si sta concludendo ed il tempo trascorso a scuola e con gli studenti: durante lo scrutinio alcuni vorrebbero promuoverli tutti, mentre altri sono contrari.
