Surinder is married to Taani but there is a huge age gap between them. There is no real romance in the marriage. Then, a dance reality show called "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" airs and Taani wants to participate but can't because her husband is not hip and happening. She has a fear of losing, and she also fears that her friends will laugh at her. Surinder overhears her problem and decides to go in for a makeover. He watches some movies and learns to dance in order to woo his young wife. Throughout the show, Taani keeps falling in love to with this new-and-improved Surinder without once realizing that he's really her husband.

Karan, Tanzing and Chandu complete their college studies and join hands with a black-marketeer, Archie, who gets them to travel to Bangkok for money-laundering purposes. En route they meet with leggy Jaipur-based Bulbul, and after the completion of this mission, the foursome decide to put their heads together to get rich quickly. After Delhi-based slacker-collegian, Bittoo Sharma's father asks him to return home to work in the sugar-cane fields, he refuses and decides to partner with career-minded wedding planner, Janakpuri-based Shruti Kakkar. She refuses to have to do anything with him, but after he impresses her, she partners with him, they set up 'Shaadi Mubarak' and begin organizing small wedding celebrations with struggling restaurateur and florist, Rajinder Singh and Maqbool respectfully. It is then Shruti realizes that she has fallen in love with Bittoo, and is embittered when he does not reciprocate. This bitterness gets worse, and the duo split up, with Bittoo opening 'Happy Weddings' - resulting in a downward spiral of their performance. With creditors hovering over them, no money coming in, Shruti finally gives way to her parents' wishes and agrees to get married to Dubai-based Chetan.
